The Struggles of Finding A Halloween Costume

Usually no matter what age you are you have some sort of event you wear a costume to on Halloween. I, maybe unlike a lot of people, begin to plan my costume in about February. I get this great idea of something I want to dress as, and think that I will keep that promise to myself.

This year I planned on going as Thor.

By the middle of the year I have changed my mind completely. I became obsessed with The Walking Dead, and wanted to be a Walker with full makeup and bite marks and whatever.

So for the rest of the time to about the beginning of September I planned on making my Walker costume. When I went to the Halloween store and saw how much the parts I needed for my costume cost, I thought, "Maybe I should be someone else. I have a blonde wig. I could go as Andrea." So I thought my costume was finished, but then I thought, "What if no one knows who I am supposed to be."

So I ordered a wig that looks like Maggie's hair. I thought maybe more people would recognize who I was dressed as. After I got the wig I changed my mind and wanted to be Daryl. My hair is short and brown, so I thought that I wouldn't need a wig after all. Then I realized that sadly I don't have a crossbow, or a poncho, or a vest with wings. My plans were ruined. I looked at the calendar the next day and saw that Halloween was in five days. I wouldn't have time to get the things I needed! (Shirt that I can rip the sleeves off of and can put blood splatters on, dye to re-dye my hair, pants I can get dirty, etc.) I panicked.

I then got a great idea while playing The Sims. I could be a Sim. It's so simple. All I have to do is make the Plumbob (Diamond above their head) and put it on a headband. So with now only two days left I have started to make it.

It's funny how as you get older deciding what you want to dress as gets harder to do. As a kid it's like, "What do you want to be?"
"I want to be a fairy!" or "A dinosaur!" or whatever. Now it's like, "Well it can be funny, or serious, or realistic, or fake, or based on a movie, or real life. Will I have time? Will I have money? I always get my great ideas for a costume the day of or the day after Halloween. It's like, "Oh. I will do that next year." Then the whole process starts over...

Sorry for the late upload. I got busy. I will try harder next time. Happy Halloween. Don't choke on candy. That's bad.

8 main things that piss me off

Here's a quick outline of eight things that piss me off.

1.  When people touch my hair

2. When people decide to randomly poke me

3. When people take food my food

Just for your information only people I know have done these three things to me. It's not like strangers do this. If they did I would punch them, thank you very much.

4. When people walk unbelievably slow

5. When I am dragged into relationship problems

6. When girls randomly start screaming

7. When it takes forever for my food to come at a restaurant

Food is an important part of my life, and if you take a century to bring it to me... you can get out. (After you have brought me my food)

8. When every song on the radio is terrible

I cannot for the life of me draw a car, so bleh.

So those are 8 things that really piss me off. There are lots more, but those are the main things.
I have decided that my posting schedule will be every Tuesday. I just feel that I have more time to do extra things on Tuesdays. Help spread the word of my blog. It will get better with more people.

A Recap of "The Walking Dead" Season 5 Episode 1

I'm going to warn you, that if you haven't seen this episode, you will see spoilers. I just wanted to make this for the people who are usually like me (but not this time), who don't get to see the episodes until they come out on Netflix or Vudu, or whatever you have. (I'm going to add pictures, but not drawn ones, because you nice people deserve to see the real deal.)

So lets start off with a quick reminder of what happened at the last part of season 4. Glenn, Maggie, Abraham, Tara, Rosita, Sasha, Bob, and Eugene made their way to Terminus, when they were greeted by a nice lady (named Mary) cooking up some meat. The place looks safe right? Wrong. We will get back to you Glenn.

Rick, Carl, and Michonne were also going to Terminus, when they stopped to take a rest for the night at an old, beat up car. While Carl was sleeping, the group of guys Daryl was with came out of the woods and put a gun to Rick and Michonne's heads (Daryl wasn't seen yet). Joe (the leader) was telling the rest of the guys in the group about how Rick killed one of their men, and they wanted to settle it by killing Rick and Michonne. Carl was in the car, and one of the more creepy of the guys pulled Carl out and held him hostage.
Then Daryl came out of the woods, Rick was happy to see him, Daryl got beat up by the rest of the group he was with for telling Joe that Rick and Michonne were good people. Joe said that was a lie and that went against the group rules, so he had to face the consequences.
Rick then got the gun away from his head and Joe grabbed him to strangle him, and Rick proceeded to bite Joe's neck, and rip some flesh out. Walker style. Michonne took the gun from her distracted pursuer, and shot him in the head. Daryl killed the two men who were beating him up and Rick stabbed the man who was holding Carl.
Rick, Daryl, Carl, and Michonne went to Terminus the next morning after Rick buried a bag of guns including his special revolver, and instead took a different pistol. The four snuck in, and were greeted nicely by someone named Gareth. When they are taken by another man to the main area of Terminus they meet Mary (still serving up meat) and Rick notices Glenn's pocket watch and riot gear, Daryl's poncho, and one of their backpacks all in possession of a Terminus resident. Rick starts a fight, and the four are all directed by gun fire to train car A, where they are forced inside, and they see Glenn, and his group all inside too. Rick ended with the fierce line of "They're screwing with the wrong people." Or on the special edition version of the episode, "They're f*****g with the wrong people."

Ok now onto season 5!
They started the season with a backstory of Gareth and Mary and some other people at Terminus. These back stories were woven throughout the episode, basically just consisting of how Terminus used to be before Gareth took it over.
When we got back to our group in the train, they are using belts, pieces of wood from the train car, clothing items and other things they could find to make weapons, since theirs were taken away when they were captured. Then you hear people coming for their train car. Everyone gets into battle position facing the door. The top of the train car opens and a smoke bomb is dropped in. Abraham yells, "Move!", but some aren't fast enough. The next thing we see is from Rick's perspective. He is going in and out of consciousness and is being dragged. In between his blacking out moments you can see a body being cut up on a table. Then they cut to normal perspective and we see Bob, Rick, Daryl, Glenn, and four other men, kneeling on the ground with cloth in their mouths in front of a large tub.

We don't recognize three of the men, but one of them is a blond guy who we do know.
He was in season 4 when Rick and Carol went on a mission to bring back some medicine for the patients at the prison. The guy was with a girl and he acted like they were in love, but later when Rick says they can come back with them Carol insists that they help find medicine. Rick gives the guy his watch so he can come back in two hours. Rick later sees the girl's cut off leg, and her body being eaten by walkers, but the guy wasn't seen again until now.
Two Terminus workers then hit the blond guy and slit his throat, threw him over the tub, and moved on down the row to the next three guys, who we didn't know. Just as Glenn was about to get hit, Gareth comes in to ask the workers what their shot count was, which saved Glenn's life. Gareth then tells Rick that he saw him bury a bag, and asked what was in it. Gareth threatened to kill Bob if Rick didn't tell, then Bob was saved by a huge explosion. We will hear more about that in a minute. Gareth runs out of the room and one of the workers tries to get the other worker to come with him to see what happened, but while they are arguing Rick pulls a wooden stake from under his pants leg, where he could luckily grab it with his hands tied. Rick cuts himself loose, and stabs the two workers. He then cut Daryl, Glenn, and Bob loose, and they equipped themselves with various knives that were previously used for cutting up humans. Then we see hanging, limbless torsos with most of the meat cut off.
We are then shown Carol and Tyreese and Judith walking along the tracks to Terminus when a walker comes out of the woods and starts to follow them. Tyreese tells Carol that he can't kill it. They are then run off the tracks by a herd of walkers who are coming right for them. You then hear gunshots from Terminus, where they are clearing out walkers from the fences. Tyreese and Carol go through some more forest until they find another Terminus worker chatting with someone on a walkie, and setting up fireworks. Carol then puts a gun to his head threatening him to drop it. They tie him up and Carol gets a hint from him that her people are at Terminus, so she leaves Tyreese with Judith and the man, and goes and camouflages herself in walker blood and mud. She takes a firework and a gun, and goes up on a hill above Terminus.

She shoots a large gas tank with the firework, which causes the huge explosion. Carol sneaks into Terminus and makes her way to a room full of stuff that had been collected from people who came looking for sanctuary. In there she finds the watch that Rick gave to the blond guy, and she turns around to see Daryl's crossbow on the table. She takes the crossbow, and heads out the door and goes into a room where she meets Mary who she shoots in the leg, because Mary won't tell her where her people are. Carol lets some walkers into the room, and that's the end of Mary.
In the train car the rest of the group is preparing for battle and Eugene is asked how he is supposed to save the world. He explains and says it's like fighting fire with fire.
In between all this, Tyreese is with Judith and the Terminus worker in a cabin. Tyreese puts Judith in a makeshift crib, and looks out the window at the walkers. When he turns around the worker has his hands around Judith's head and tells Tyreese to drop his weapons and go outside with the walkers, or the baby dies. Tyreese obeys, and we hear him yelling. Later on he comes back in, and the worker backs up. Tyreese then beats the worker to death.
Somewhere else in Terminus Rick, Glenn, Daryl, and Bob are dodging walkers, and let a man out of a train car who yells, "I'm free!" and then gets bitten by a walker. They then make it around to train car A and let the rest of the group out. They then hop the fence narrowly escaping the walkers. Rick turns around and shoots at Gareth with a gun that he found and we see Gareth get hit, but we aren't sure if he is dead. Everyone escapes, and they head to where Rick buried his bag of guns. Everyone is standing around when Carol comes walking up behind them. Daryl sees her and runs right at her and gives her a huge hug and she hugs back, and he starts to cry a bit.

I cried at this part and for the rest of the episode.
Anyway, so then Carol leads Rick to where Tyreese is, and Rick sees his baby and runs and grabs her from Tyreese. Rick and Carl hold Judith and cry tears of joy. The whole group is together now, and they begin to walk down the tracks to wherever they are off to next, with Carol and Daryl walking side by side, and Carl holding Judith. Rick sees a Terminus sign, and crosses it out with something he found in the dirt.

So that was the recap of episode 501. And they had a scene from the next episode which showed someone in a mask walking up to the Terminus sign that Rick crossed out and looking at it. He took his mask off, and it was Morgan! Morgan is coming back! I'm very excited!

So this episode was probably my favorite episode, and I can't wait to see what happens next!

*Extra Note* I'm going to try to add a post once every week, but I haven't decided if I should have an exact day that I upload on. I'll think about it. Thanks for reading!

Don't Get Near. You Will Catch The Lesbian.

So a few days ago this girl I know, who I will just nickname "Da", got a boyfriend to (everyone's surprise), and she is always talking about how they are so adorable together, and they are perfect for each other. So she is convinced that I want a boyfriend too. Da told me,
"It will be kind of hard to find someone who will match your personality." Basically saying, "You are so weird that no one will love you but I will try to force someone with you so you are happy with me for once."
I keep having to tell her that I don't want her as match maker.
She was pissing me off so bad that I just kinda yelled something out. I knew that she would stop talking for at least a minute so I could regain some sanity back, but I didn't think she would take it so seriously.

So I said:

Da got this look on her face of 'I'm nervous, because Emily is now dangerous. She can infect me. What if she falls in love with me. Ew. I have a boyfriend. What if I won't love him anymore?!'

So she tells me, "Just don't fall for me, because I wouldn't be able to be friends with you, because if you fall in love with me I could NOT love you back, because that is weird."

Ok. First of all. I am NOT a lesbian. I have nothing wrong with people being gay or lesbian or however you choose to like people. Gay people are some of the most awesome people I know. Second, Da has a completely wrong interpretation of how you "become gay or lesbian". You don't just "become" one of the two or both (again completely up to you). You are born with that decision, or develop it over time. Da thinks that if a lesbian, (for example she thinks me), touches you, you instantly fall in love with girls. And a lot of people think that someone who likes the same gender will try to hit on anyone who is their gender. No. Like "straight people", they too have crushes. Like if you are a guy and see another dude checking your face out and start to think, "Ew. He is going to try to hit on me.", that guy might just be thinking that your hair is cool.

I got so off topic, but stayed on topic at the same time.

So usually when I pass Da in the hall or the "Square" as people call it, she comes over to me and starts giggling and showing me pictures of her boyfriend or whatever. But she would not look at me or talk to me. Usually that is a good thing, but I wanted to know something. Is she afraid of me because she thinks I'm a lesbian? The answer is yes, because I sent her a text asking, "Are you ignoring me because of what I said?" My phone of course tells me when someone has opened a text, and she did, but unlike her usual self, she didn't respond.

If she talks to me or is around me, she will catch the Lesbian. Because that is how her mind works.

A diagram of Da's brain.

After telling this story to my friends we decided to go over to Da (she hangs out with her boyfriend and a group of other strange people) and have me touch her arms and try to hold her hands to freak her out. So we did, and I grabbed her hands and tried to hug her, and she started yelling, "Stop! You are in a trance! You are in a trance! Snap out of it!"
I kept saying, "I know you want to be like me! Come on it isn't that bad! Love me!"

PS: You don't become gay from being in a trance.

So later on I saw her again and tried to lightly grab her hands again and repeated what I said earlier. She was pushing me off her as if I was trying to seriously injure her. Then she left with one of her friends, and I left to go the same way (not to follow her, but to get to my area where I get picked up from) after I waited for one of my friends. Me and my two friends were talking and walking down the road when some guy on a bike rides past me and yells, "Hey maybe-trans!"
Sorry I can't draw bikes. Sheesh.

All three of us were really confused, and I got super pissed off, because he of course meant "trans" as in "transsexual".  Maybe because of my short hair, and not-showing makeup. I have been called a boy before, but not "trans". And why else would someone just decide to yell that to me, unless he had at least some evidence. He was most likely in that group of Da's friends, or Da's boyfriend heard me talking to her, and told his friends, or Da told this guy for no reason and very accurately described me.

So after my two friends left I saw the person Da was with earlier in a small Christian café, but she wasn't there, and I wanted to yell at her for telling people lies about me. So I went in to talk to her friend, so I pulled that door open so fast the bells on the handle almost fell off and the owner of the café looked up at me thinking, "You need Jesus." (I could see it in his eyes.) So I ask Da's friend,
"Where's Da?" And he starts telling me about her leaving and asking for money, and something else, and so I tell him about what just happened, and he starts laughing and I guess I was talking loud, because everyone in there starts giving me this look of, "Go buy a $12 sandwich and read a bible." So I leave and wait outside for my ride. As I was waiting, Da comes walking up to me laughing, and says, "Don't try that again." So I yell at her,
"Did you tell some guy that I was trans or something? That's not cool." And she laughs and walks away  and people walking around outside look at me like I'm insane.

The story will continue soon, but that's the most recent thing so far. I will updated probably tomorrow, or Monday.

Till then, stay away, or you will get the Lesbian.

Welcome To My Blog

Welcome to my blog! Here I'm going to post true stories that happen to me on almost a daily basis. After telling someone some of the things that happen to me on the regular they said, "Hey, you should start a blog." So here I am. As a student I hear lots of things on campus and I sometimes have to stop and rub my eyes. Other times I get pulled into stupid relationship problems, which you will hear a lot about, but I'll cut the boring parts out. I'm working on getting some sort of drawing pad for my computer so I can tell my stories a little easier.
(Sorry for the bad quality, for I drew this with my finger.)
